In reality we're all sick bastards and have an instinct to kill. But most of us don't act it out in real life but in viloent video games where you can act out loads of ways of murder to your hearts content. Hitman is perfect for this as the title says it all. While it may be called 'silent assassin', Hitman 2 can actually become a shoot 'em up or even a FPS. Sure, you could do what the game wants you to do and use various tactics of stealth to get your kill and that's just as satisfying. But I like to just go crazy and shoot everything in sight. I get a certain thrill seeing agent 47 shooting goons halfway across the room with a shotgun. Even though this method of play shortens the game's length nearly by half it's still a fantastic gaming experience. WIth some nicely graphics and sound Hitman 2 is just a good a 'kill simulator' as GTA3. It's not as long as should be and I would like to see some more weapons like grenades perhaps if I do pick up the sequel; but these flaws, however are irrelevant as overall this game is a must have.
