the best fun you can have with a pair of silverballers and a house full of FBI agents

User Rating: 9.1 | Hitman: Blood Money PS2
the hitman series is a popular one because it combines great musical scores with hard hitting gameplay, bloodmoney the 3rd in the seires on ps2 has a few new elements in it that make it one of the best ones in the series.
first of all is the weapons the 47 brings to the table, his trusty silverballers, shotguns,SMG,M4,Sniper plus whatever else he picks up. his default weaponary is all upgradeable with silences, extra ammo bigger clips and laser sights plus all other kids of fun gadgets to help bring scum to justice and money to your pockets

Money plays a big part in this one because you'll use it to buy upgrades for your guns, you'll recive money for each mission but the amount will differ depending on how well you do, this is the first major difference in the hitman seires since there really wasent much to make you do a level all the quietly, in blood money silence pays and it pays well, rack up too many innocent corpses and a hunk of money will be taken out of your paycheck to fix thins up not to mention 5 large for every custom weapon you leave behind plus your custom suit.

Notoriety also plays apart in that witnesses and CCTV that catch a good look at you cause you to become more recognisable in latter missions and will cost you money to help witnesses forget and tapes to get lost, however it isnt really that hard to aviod being noticed which is a major problem in this game. You see hitman really isnt that hard, there will be maybe 1 or 2 levels that will have you scratching your head the rest will be almost screaming different ways to do them, for example in one mission you have a target plus 2 optional targets, sounds hard to wack all 3 with out being seen right?? wrong during the mission the screen will flash up pictures of them doing stupid things like drinking from an eaisly poisioned bottle cooking with gas and lifting weights in an empty courtyard with no spotter....i mean how the hell are you even seeing this? are you hooked into the camera system in each area or something?

that aside the lenght of missions are huge and once you complete a level in one difficulty there wont be much challenge even on the harder modes, the last being an exception, while repeating each mission o find new and better ways to get away with it, there are only a few which are fun to replay and even then only a few diffeernt ways to do them even though each way is fun unique and thought out unlike the pervious ones where you had to figure out some absurd method that the developers had thought of to get a perfect rating.

Blood moneys faults aside its still a fun game to lay provided you arent looking for a game with a long lifespan, although my friends and i still enjoy sitting down and taking in turns to play through levels with the intent of killing every one in them with a hail of armour peircing bullets and headshots. the music score is sceonded to none as always and the plot is quiet good. well worth the rent but also worth a uy if your looking for a quick but great thrill ride with plenty of wacky deaths and a silenced shotgun as well (thats right a SILENCED SHOTGUN..hell yeah).
