Agent 47 is back and better than ever...
User Rating: 10 | Hitman: Blood Money PS2
Hitman: Blood Money is the first game in the Hitman series that I've played and all I can say is it was bloody good. Agent 47 is one cool assassin because he can blend in any circle of people, deal with any kind of situation and get the job done without even breaking a sweat. It has a steep learning curve but when you get the hang of the controls, its going to be easy sailing from that point. The gameplay is similar to the other Hitman games. You can either play it safe and be stealthy when you kill your target or you can shoot everyone, guns ablaze. Of course, as a serious gamer you should choose the former because Hitman: Blood Money has a new feature which is the notoriety rating. Your notoriety rating would increase if the police suspects you as the hitman or if there is a witness that saw you killing the target. Its one of the major highlights of the game because it affects what happens on your succeeding assignment. After every missions, a newspaper article would always pop-up describing the accounts about your kill. Sometimes a witness would give a description about you. From the totally hilarious to the very accurate. The police would openly shoot you without hesitation on your next mission if a detailed description about you is printed on the papers. Its a good addition because it adds tension and challenge. But the game is also forgiving because if you think you can't use stealth you can choose the lowest difficulty, in which your notoriety rating is not in effect and you have full support from the agency you work for, so its a good training ground for would-be Agent 47s.
Yes, Hitman: Blood Money may look and sound good but its not without flaws but its still one ride that you won't forget for a very long time.
