Hitman Contracts is the darkest of all Hitman games. It is always dark and raining. Again you play Agent 47 (of course) who has received a fatal bullet wound and is climbing the stairway to heaven. In his time of dying (excuse the references to Led Zeppelin songs) he has flashbacks of previous mission in which you have to complete. The game contains 12 missions, 4 being based on the original levels from the first game Hitman:Codename 47. For those who have played the original game, will feel a sense of nostalgia and will want to explore the area to see the similarities between this game and Hitman:Codename 47. But when i was playing the remake levels of the original, i did kind of want to finish them quickly so i could play the brand new missions. The controls are pretty easy on PC due to the same control scheme as Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, only really requiring a couple of main buttons to perform most actions. The music by Jesper Kyd really helps set the mood with digital beats and and dark tones, as usual top notch but definitely not as good as Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman Blood Money which both have vocal and orchestral sounds (more Hitman 2:Silent Assassin than Hitman Blood Money). So if your a fan of the Hitman series then there there is no doubt that you need to buy this game, but if your a newcomer, it might be worth it if you can find a cheap copy just in case you don't think it is that good.
