Hitman: Contracts was indeed a little misleading at first, but it wasn't long before we all knew the new game would have a bunch of remade missions from the original title. The beauty here is that they were all improved as far as I can tell, and it all plays so much smoother than even Hitman 2! The graphical tweak between titles is clear and obvious and the motion and blur effects give both a sense of dark realism as well as a constant, almost fantastical Noir-ish feel to the environments. The A.I. still isn't triple-A quality but it's getting better. The range of weapons is about par for the course, but the alternate environmental kills and tools really add a depth of creativity and improvisation to what could otherwise be a very forced linear experience.
Bottom line is; if you enjoyed either of the first two Hitman games, you will like this too, plus the difficulty is a bit more streamlined this time around, to bring the baddies up to your level no matter how good you think you are.
