A poor man's worms.

Warfare is given a fresh spin in this worms style turn based battle-fest. You control a team of hogs from one of the main countries in world war 2 and must battle other teams of hogs in an attempt to gain control of saustralasia's swill supply. The maps offer some variety but gameplay remains much the same throughout. Blow each other up. Weapons include poison gas , a sniper rifle,dynamite and even a jet-pack. Different classes of soldier are available to choose from such as spies and engineers. Each type of soldier has their own unique weapons and can be ranked up to gain more weapons. The sounds the soldiers make vary between the countries. For example the Germans sound more nasal. Each country has it's own stereo-typical dialogue as well. All this is great but the game just grows very repetitive very quickly and doesn't have the same class that worms does. Multiplayer is also available with different matchmodes and all the maps able to be chosen from. However it is cumbersome because you only use one controller and have to swap it between you and it just isn't fun. If your looking for a poor man's version of worms this is definitely it.
