I watched the video review from Gamespot, and that guy has some pre-conceived opinions that do not translate to the playability of this game at all. It's top notch. Hardware issues aside, as the game was initially quite buggy, the playability is non-stop. It's been a long time since I've run across a game that's this hard to stop playing. It's not a very indepth game in comparison to many newer games, but that's part of its appeal. Good story, simple but engaging game play, and makes you want to come back for more. They RPG part is not too tedious, like these games can often become. There is often something new around the next set of quests, which keeps you involved and open to the next task. If you're no HP fan, or dislike the author of these books, they by all means stay away. And, no there is no conspiracy against any group of people here. It's just honest good gameplay with a decent story to keep you going.
