Hogwarts legacy nailed the open world and it checks every box. The highlight is Hogwarts itself with several key locations and characters from the movies and books. This game serves as a massive dose of fan service and that isn't a bad thing. You have freedom to customize your spell load out with all kinds of exploration, tactical, and lethal spells, this freedom is very well designed. However the biggest flaws is the redundant combat and enemy design. Most enemies are reskinned or introduced in the first 2 hours of the game. The same goes for the combat system, you learn everything in the beginning with no new innovation outside of spells. It made me bored after I finished 2/3rds of the story. Speaking of story, it is shockingly boring for a Harry Potter Story and the main antagonist and final boss fight is out right lame.
