Frustrating, but can be fun.

The game itself is frustrating, too much to worry about. Battles are painfully long and should not be played on the go, you will need at least 15 minutes to sit down and destroy your enemies. I enjoy the soundtrack a lot, the theme is quite catchy and the various other sounds are not too annoying either. I find this game fun to play every now and then, but it's not a classic, and it wont keep me playing for more than one battle at a time. You will need at least a half hour to familiarize yourself with the game, as it has a lot of frustrating elements such as coins, seals, dieties, etc. The only redeeming factor of Hoshigami's gameplay is the RAP system which believe it or not, is not all that bad. Sure it adds to you list of tedious crap you have to worry about, but it adds a slight bit of interest to the battles. You will find yourself aiming for the high critical hits when attacking, this leaves you not just watching your characters attack your enemy, but helping them do it. This game is not for everyone, in fact, there are few people who this game is for.
