Hot Shots Golf Open Tee is undeniably one of the most entertaining golf games out there, but that isn't saying a whole lot. Golf games are pretty boring in my opinion, Hot Shots does add a bunch of things to make it at least worth playing. The reason I give it a 6.5 though is because there isn't a whole lot more to it than what the previous games have had. For the PSP this is a great game, and if you like hot shots golf then this might be for you, but if you aren't a huge HSG fan then stay away. This is pretty much Hot Shots Golf Fore! in PSP form except for it just simply isn't as fun, characters are boring, game modes are watered down, and there isn't as much to do.
Pros. - Pretty good graphics - Good controls - Cute atmosphere - Funnest golf game you can get for the PSP - Kid-Friendly game play
Cons. - Not a whole lot different compared to the previous Hot Shots Golf games - Game modes are watered down - Not as much to do - Characters are all tweens it looks like and they are all for the most part bland and annoying
The Verdict. If you like Hot Shots Golf, then sure go ahead, but proceed with caution.
