First off, I have to say that I loved the first Hunter. My friends and I have given it many, many, long hours of intense hack and slash play. When I had heard that Redeemer was coming I was very happy. Although, I was not sure how they would address certain problems like character advancement and adding more substance to the game. Well my fears were quelled and they improved the game by leaps and bounds. For those of you who are wondering what changes were made since the last Hunter here is the list of changes. One new character and 2 "secret" unlockable ones New monsters and bosses Three new special weapons and 4 new types of special ammunition pickups An all-new experience system allows you to control how your character improves based on the way you fight. There is a beautiful new graphics engine Downloadable content via Xbox Live! (New Costumes are available right now) In game Dolby Digital 5.1 Collect monster collector cards during gameplay and you can even unlock playable monsters! Import/Export feature to save off your experienced characters and import them into your friend's game at any point So for those of you who enjoyed the last Hunter, go pick up your new game right now. If you are looking for the best horror multiplayer experiences that there is available on the Xbox you should not hesitate to pick this up. For those of you who have not played Hunter here is a little to think about. The single player experience is good but Hunter is best multiplayer. If you do pick this up there is no online multiplayer support for Live. I do not see this as a bad thing but others might. I wholeheartedly suggest if you are looking for something to do with your friends or want a good horror/action game this should fit the bill nicely. My only beef with the whole game is I wish you could change the button assignments. Other than that its perfect for me.
