Now, I'm not a fan of hockey, but I'll be the first to tell you that this is one of the most fun hockey games out there. It has everything you need, strategy, fast gameplay, and fighting. You have a choice of eight teams, varying speeds and period lengths. The strategy comes in when have to choose your players. You can have four players on the ice at a time. From there you can choose whether your players will be fast but weak, strong but slow, or a mixture of both. The game changes a lot depending on how you create your team. If this games come out on the Virtual Console, definitely get it, especially if they put online multiplayer on it.
