A game I couldn't put down...

I have never heard of this game before and just by looking at the box cover I thought it was going to be very boring. Even my fiancé said I wasn't going to like this game, and he seems to know what types of games that I would like or hate. So right away I didn't have high hopes for this game. But I had nothing else to play and I was desperate. Thirty minutes into the game I was hooked! The game starts out where you see a young boy who was born with a set of horns (which apparently are not a good thing where he lives) and he is sentenced to be locked up in a tomb left to die. He escapes and he finds this girl who is also condemned in this tomb and he rescues her from inside a large cage hanging from the ceiling. Once you free her that is when the game starts to get really fun and addictive. The entire purpose of the game is to grab this girl’s hand (it’s the only way she will follow you) and literally drag her through the castle trying to find the way out. Simple right? Wrong! Through out the entire castle are these puzzles and obstacles that may or may not require this girl’s help. Some obstacles or puzzles you will need to leave her behind and climb rope or scale walls to try to find a way to get her to the safely to the next room. Oh but don't leave her too long or these black shadow creatures come up from the ground and try to grab her and drag her into the hole with them and all you have to fight these things is a wooden sword. Sometimes these creatures have wings and will grab her and fly away to a different section of the room leaving you to scramble around in search of her so that you can yank her out of the black hole right before she goes too far down. If she happens to not be rescued in time and she sinks all the way in the black hole, you have to start over again from that room. As you progress through the game the puzzles start to give your brain a real workout but no puzzle is too hard. I only looked online once to see what to do and the answer was right in front of my face (duh!). From the stunning graphic to the beautiful music, this game defiantly rates highly with me. Even though this wasn’t a very action filled game with a ton of cut scenes, it was a very addictive game that really made me use my brain, which was getting a little dusty. The only small, tiny, little bitty complaint I have is the ending. I really don't know exactly what happen and had to go online to find out what it all meant. But like I said that was the only complaint I had in this game. All in all a fun game with good graphics, good music and just an all around good game.
