Simply put, this is one of the games of my childhood. And it still holds up nowadays.

User Rating: 9.4 | Ikari NES
Ikari Warriors is a classic game released by SNK for the arcades in the late '80s. It shows the path of a commando duo of characters armed to their teeth that need to invade enemy territory and destroy the resistance. Simple as that.

Data East handled the release conversion for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and for the time, it was a pretty good conversion overall. The game lost some of the little details of the arcade and the enemies are more comical when they die, they just float around and disappear. Also, of course, being a Nintendo system, the blood is also gone. Other than this, the game is the same.

IW was at a real advantage since Rambo was released around the same time, so the whole macho commando-type guy was high at that time. But the game holds great value these days, for its extreme difficulty and fun gameplay.

I highly recommend this for anyone who owns a NES and wants a challenging and fun game. You won't regret it. If you are new to the whole counting-the-power-on-bits thing, it's worth a very detailed look.
