IL2 Sturmovik 1946 is one of the best ww2 games on the pc. With over 250 unlockable and flyable planes there is never a time when you have nothing. You can do bomb runs, have dogfights, do stunts or even be a kamikaze. The game can be moded and you can have planes which are unlockable, modify graphics and chnage the sounds of planes and guns. The let downs to this game is that you have to do the hardest level to unlock planes. Another let down is when you do quick mission builder, there is only a max of 16 planes each side and there are limited maps on quick mission builder. another let down is that the game can lag alot and you can be in dogfight one minute, the next your on the ground in a fireball. Overall the game is worth buying. If it is your first flight game on pc, is suggest you buy a joystick to make flying in the game alot more fun. To make it better you can mod the game and make it even more realistic.
