Bugs galore, this game is worse than than a mouse infested barrel of Swiss cheese.

I'm glad, to start, I bought this on sale. Of course after getting my hopes up it would be a half way decent game compared to the classics of Pharaoh and Zeus, I was really let down. The combat is horribly broken; my troops don't deploy, and for the military brilliance of the Roman Empire, the interface is really simple. Even if the combat worked for me, I can't imagine it would be worth watching. But because of the combat bug, many scenarios are completely unplayable.

Secondly, citizens are entirely stupid. They request new wells, I build 3 right by their homes, and they still rebel because they want wells. The same goes for demands for temples, food, etc etc. There are no overlay options, so figuring out effective ranges is a pain, making city planning difficult. This isn't helped by the roads having no practical effect on building placement. I like the building mechanic, slaves bring materials to a construction spot. Religion plays a limited role, surprising for a society that in real life placed an emphasis on the gods and beliefs.

This game isn't even worth my sale price. I'm just upset I bought it digitally and can't return it.
