'Warning' this game is for Wii noobs only

User Rating: 3 | Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings PS2
In this type of Indy game the hand fighting system has always been the most fun part of the game however in The Staff of Kings the clunky fighting system often turns into confusion. The fighting controls are best described as awkward and there are too many pickup weapons scattered around the floor in the fighting areas (obviously for Wii users) you can get through a fights by just picking up planks/metal bars etc and hitting enemies once or twice. This leaves PS2 users with a frustrating and disappointing fight.

Tombin with the whip just does not feel as satisfying as it should and shuffling round a few pitfalls is boring. As for chase scenes/legging it you just press R1 L1 (another chuck waving moment for Wii users) and was not challenging at all. Flying a plane is just weaving in out and shooting whats in front of you, again no challenge there. I am sorry to say this will not be the most complete review for the game on here as I could no longer stomach playing this game and will now be taking it back to the store, hopefully I will get a refund as they prolly dont want it back either!

This game has been made purely for the Wii noobs and will be 10mins of gimmicky fun for them. The port to the PS2 has been poorly conceived and implemented and most people will feel hugely let down by the developers.

I've played virtually ever Indiana Jones game made and this has to be the worst one, I just hope someone learns from this and decides to make a decent Indy game whether its next gen or not.
