My first review was not really what I expected when I played this again.Something new...there is damage to the cars,but only tires that shake.It seems there IS an affect on the handling of your car.It pulls to one side,like GRID,when you take a hard hit,but not when you slam the wall head-on at 200 mph.Pit stops ARE complicated,the mission that involved this has you refuel your car,which is impossible,because the hose moves so much artificially,you spill fuel and bust out the extinguishers and putting the fire out,which is why I got disgusted and put the DS down.Changing tires is also complicated,which I'm not even gonna explain because of my experience.The cars try to look different,but fail to do so,but they look nice in the menus,the racing is 5 percent interesting,but gets boring.You have extras such as pictures and a narration about the real race.Indianapolis 500 legends for the DS is a fun game for die-hard fans if you're going to really enjoy it,and having to do annoying and stupid mini-games in the pit stops,which led me to failing that mission,which is why this gets a 5.0 out of 10.
