Get ready for some relaxed, cinematic gameplay.

User Rating: 9 | Fahrenheit (French) PC
Indigo Prophecy for the PC. I've never played the other console versions, so base this review on the PC version since some of the things I mention in my review aren't in the console versions.

I played the Indigo Prophecy version, not the uncensored Fahrenheit version :S.

The strong points:

- Excellent motion capture and voice acting.
- Not a lot of effort is required to play this game, good for a person that doesn't feel like sitting at the edge of their seat mashing buttons and hoping they won't get a game over.
- Very good story.
- Decent length.
- Atmosphere/music is perfect.
- Superb cast of characters.
- Unique gameplay.

The weak fail issues:

- Rare technical problems: Random crashing, loading screen crashes, graphical lags that certainly shouldn't be occuring.
- If you use Xfire while playing PC games, you will have "Xfire connection established" pop up in the corner of your screen many many times, even on camera angle changes during cutscenes.
- Won't allow screen resolution to go over 1280x1024.
- The game is in widescreen, non-stop. You can't change it or do anything about it, even if you're using a widescreen monitor. You only have the option to use 4:3 (full screen) resolutions. There are black bars at the top and bottom of the screen all the time.
- Frustrating parts can get make you smash keyboards. Technical problems won't help.

My score: 9.0

It's still great despite it's bad technical problems. In the end, you'll think it was worth going through all those technical problems to see how the story closes itself.

Great game.
