What was believed to be a sleeper hit, soon became known.

User Rating: 8.3 | Indigo Prophecy PS2
Indigo Prophecy is like a movie that you can play. In it's own action scenes you actually get to play through, using a sort of Simon technique with the analog sticks. This game has a great story to it and can very well been made into a movie if it wasn't a game. The thing that makes it even greater is the ability to choose what you want to, with consequence for your actions. You get to choose what you want to do all through the game, though most don't have an overall affect of the outcome of the game, it does have 3 different endings.
It's not even just the main character -Lucas Kane- you control, Indigo Prophecy allows you to play as three more diffent characters and from there point of view. You play as Carla Valenti, the detective on the Lucas Kane murder case, and her partner Tyler Miles. There are also some parts in the game you play as Lucas's brother, Marcus Kane.
As for the storyline, when you start to get towards the end of the game, it seems as if half of the middle of the story was just pulled out. It's like you missed out on a bunch stuff. This is what probably made the game seem so short, but for the most part you should be able to keep up. This is definitley a game you should at least rent.
