Original and Surprising but still lacks the X-factor to be a good game.

User Rating: 7.8 | Indigo Prophecy PS2
Indigo Prophecy tells us the true meaning of "do not judge a book by its cover(in this case a game)" The packaging, the graphics all look Mediocre at first sight. But this game turned out to be a unique and richly scripted one.

Story:
It starts out as good as any box-office hit out there. You start the game as Lucas Kane. You have just killed a complete stranger. Why? How? It is up to you to play the game and find out. Howver, the story falters late on and prove out to be dissapointing in my opinion.

Gameplay:
The game contain a very unique style of gameplay, in most parts of the game you are required to do a lot of button-hitting, beside your actions your selection of dialogue can influence the storyline. Even with it's unique gameplay, some players may find it hard or frustrating as this game require your quick and accurate respond in the button-hitting scenes of the game. So, timing is also a important factor implanted into the gameplay. Also You get to play as multiple characters in the game thus seeing the story from different perspectives.

Graphics:
Can be better but not that bad.

Sound:
Great job by all Sound artists here. Vocals are all nicely done and BGMs set excellent mood to the game.

Value:
Well in terms of value is up to you guys. As every action in the game has a different reaction you may want to play it through a couple of times before getting bored with it.

Overall:
If you are a typical gamer(the kind which games for leisure) then i say rent this game and finish playing it coz like me you wouldn't want to care exploring all the different outcomes as the endings are more or less the same. Well if you are hardcore then by all means buy it.
