A brief but enjoyable gaming experience that explores a variety of themes to suit everyone's taste.
I completed this game over two days but the experience still stays with me. The characters, although not explored immensely become likable and relatable so that you're left with fond memories of the most forgettable of sequences. One 'act' that I remember well was as trivial as friendly banter between a character and her roommate. Although inconsequential, the scene reinforced the idea that this is a game attempting to bridge the gap between itself and movies. Although a noble effort, the story direction is occasionally abrupt or clumsy and doesnt delve as deep into the themes and ideas it portrays as I would have liked.
Overall, the game is worth a rent; maybe two if you're the kind of perfectionist who likes to experience every twist and turn the multiple choices in the game give you the chance to witness.
