Indigo Profecy features one of the best openings ever, and is more cinematic than most other hollywood crime movies.

I've always known that Indigo Profecy was great, but I've never managed to actually buy the game. Now, in the age of next generation high definition gaming, I'm playing the game, forgetting all about the Xbox 360 for a while.

The graphics are definitely last generation, and they don't even compete with last years Xbox titles. The animations are very good, but the game doesn't look that good. The environments are okay, but especially the characters look dated.

The sounds on the other hand are awesome. Especially the music outstands with its very moody main theme and overall tense tunes. The main theme is one of 2005's best, and creates a mood that reminds me a bit of the superb Max Payne games. The actors has done a great job, bringing the characters to life. If you close your eyes while gaming, you could swear you were watching the latest crime film from hollywood!

Indigo Profecy is something of its own. The game is placed in the adventure genre, which is a genre that's shrinking these days among FPS and war strategy games. Indigo Profecy is a small revolution for the adventure genre. I really want to play more games like this. The excitement, the action, the conversations, and all the great mini games. The first two hours of the game are especially great. It outstands as one of the best openings I've witnessed in a long time. This is indeed a crime game, where you controle four different characters. The murderer: Lucas Kane. The detective: Carla Valenti. The NYPD agent: Tyler Miles. And the murderer's borther and priest: Markus Kane. The fact that you are both running away from the police and controlling them is awesome. The story is so thrilling and exciting you're likely to run through the game in one go! This is also very possible because of the game not lasting more than a maximum of 10 hours. You're likely to play through it more than twice, but it's a shame it's so short. Sometimes the controls seem broken, and the story gets a bit "Matrix" towards the end. But it doesn't ruin the fact that this is an awesome game, and one of 2005's best Xbox games.

The fantastic story and how it unfolds. All the choices that affect how the story turns out. Great actors, and fantastic music. Controlling both the killer and the detective.

The controls are sometimes crap! Some camera issues. The game is very short. It all gets a bit to "Matrix wanna be" towards the end!
