All that Tiger's game.com would need for this 1995 SEGA arcade classic to be perfect would be a much faster processor.

Ever since the year 1995, Indy 500 had been one of the neatest racing games ever released for arcades by SEGA, licensed by the people of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. What you would have expected in the arcades would be the sweaty palms, the intense heartbeats...oh, and those young, hip, slang-using street punks who always wore their rock concert tees. This port for the now sort-of dead Tiger Electronics game.com brings all the classic arcade racing action right into the palm of your own hand, literally. Even though the gameplay and framerate may be slow and clunky for some, it can be a bit easy to master. The game.com port contains the following features: hidden cars, authentic speech, and two views. It sort of has you mashing the B button while you're holding the A button for a little bit, especially through the turns. It may also get you mashing the C and D buttons to shift gears up and down when you're using the six-speed manual car, too. Seriously, you should know the following note about this neat game: All that Tiger's game.com would need for this 1995 SEGA arcade classic to be perfect would be a much faster processor. The sound processor itself is actually okay, but the video processor would need a few authorized factory-made changes. It's a true shame that it doesn't have 2-player link play with the Tiger Electronics game.com Head-2-Head Cable (sold separately) and that the game only contains one course to play in, but the good advantages are that Indy 500 does have other neat things like changing the track's weather condition to make the game slightly easy (sunny) or slightly hard (rainy) and touching parts of the screen to bring up a cheats menu to enter six-button codes to disable the timer, be free of damage, etc. So, if you want to buy a game.com racing classic by SEGA Enterprises, Ltd. and Tiger Electronics, you had better compare this one to other totally different handheld racing games, because for about $5.00 at your local EBGames retailer or off of eBay, you can easily buy every single pixel of the realistic arcade action in your hand without the heavy arcade cabinet in your way. No quarters needed! thevgcollector's Proverb: See Indy 500 speak. See Indy 500 make to be touched. You can't see Indy 500 not wire you to the Internet, but you can see Indy 500 ROCK YOUR WORLD!!!
