Infamous 2 is unfairly judged by Gamespot

User Rating: 9 | inFamous 2 PS3
Though it is true that this game does have issues all games do. This game does it's best to improve on the first and succeeds. Though all the old problems still remain and new ones occur such as an over active camera and a sticky Cole navigating past them is easy. Gamespots review says that the black and white color effect when your dying lasts for an abnormally long time. This man must have not known how to play the game or missed the line where Zeke and Cole discuss how absorbing electricity heals you. Doing this in combat will remove the color effect quickly and allow you to dish out more pain. They say the bosses are tedious but it is simply because they are unimaginative. Instead of doing the same thing over and over again to defeat a boss try a new tactic. There's almost no penalty to dying so why not experiment?
Now on to what gamespot did right. The storyline is great though moral choices are black and white and usually don't cause big ripples in future gameplay. The only major choice is your last one when you decide to kill or ally the beast.
Moving about the city is easy and apart from the occasional awkward movement to get to the top of a building it is effortless. Combat is fun and fast pace. The fact that you can die easily only improves the game because it will force you to be mobile while searching for electricity and with their traveling system as mentioned before it is a very fun and exciting part of the game. Fighting bosses is strait forward and difficult. When running away and firing bolts and bombs they eventually die.
All in all this is a great game that is underrated. Don't believe me? Take a look at the user score and if your still not convinced buy the game and enjoy the wonderful well worth $50 experience!
