even better that the first

When I played infamous 1 i beat the game on both evil and good. I had fun with it the first time being bad but felt playing it on good side felt kind of repetitive. Now I played both sides on Infamous 2 and I have to say, it's a shocking ride.

Just like the first game you play as Cole, but he's got a different look and a different voice actor. To me the new voice actor does just fine as Cole but some other people might miss the more rougher voice of the last voice actor. The story in this is simple, but you should probably play Infamous 1 before this because if you don't know the story of the first one you might be kind of confused even though it kind of weakly explains it in the start of the game. A big conduit is coming at it will destroy anything in it's way, and Cole needs to stop it. In the start of the game Cole gets owned by the beast and his powers get drained. He still has some of powers that you get from the first game like the static thrusters, electric bolt, shock wave and electric grenade and more. So he goes to New Marray, a swap like, destroyed town, to get new powers. Over the game you find blast cores to get new powers. And a thing is you always feel BA. You'll encounter 50 enemies and kick their butts while jumping, gliding, shooting electricity, and dodging bullets. And as you get more powerful you encounter tougher enemies like the ice conduits. A new edition also to Infamous 2 is the amp, a new melee weapon that is very fun to use. I found it more fun to quickly run up to a enemy and clobber him with the amp that zap him with electricity, just cause it's so fun to use it, even though zapping a dude rapidly is also very fun. Just like Infamous 1 Cole is very fast and flexible. You'll jump of buildings, glide in the air, grind on electric lines and climb objects, which never gets old. Also the climbing had been fixed so it's more easier. Sadly unlike the last Infamous their isn't any train tracks, which you were able to grind on, but because there isn't any it may take longer to get to a way point but that's not a problem at all, it's just some people might miss grinding on the train tracks. When you kill enemies you earn XP and you can upgrade and buy powers. Also their are two new characters who also are conduits. One fire, one ice. Later on in the game you merge yours powers and get one of the two, so you get another choice of powers, even though they don't give to many. And even better the karma choices are back. It effects your look, color of your lightning and how the city looks. You mostly team up with one of the two other conduits you meet and you do different side missions with them. Also the karma choices give replay value so one time you can play as the bad guy and one time as the good guy. And like I said about Infamous 1 how it felt repetitive, it didn't feel repetitive with Infamous 2. Mostly because of the new conduit characters and the new powers you can get. Each story mode takes about 8 and 9 or 10 if you decide to do the side missions.
Then you got the user generated content that I never really tried out. It never got my attention but you get the chance to make your own level and share it with PSN. All in all this is a great game, but you might feel the enemies might be to over powered and some powers can be totally useless and the camera does have some problems, but this easily beats Infamous 1 and will be a great PS3 game for a long time.
