An epic squeal to an epic game created by the people who brought us Sly Cooper's 1-3; a true master piece
Another thing I liked about Infamous 2 was that it added two additional characters that acted as Cole's thin line between good and evil, the old school classic, angel and devil on your shoulder whispering in your ear type of character. Kou being an agent turned ice conduit; and Nixx, a fiery hot tempered and chaos loving swamp dweller turned Napalm wielding conduit, and Zeke as the middle man to help keep Cole in check.
Now some may say that the game's scope in terms of location was dimmed down, which it was to an extent because Empire City is bigger than New Marais, however New Marais had more divisions than Empire City including free roam of the swamp so that was a nice touch. In addition Cole's navigation powers are expanded and getting around the world is a lot easier.
The powers you get in this game are fantastic, each one more powerful than the next and you always try your hardest to upgrade and get the next more powerful power to kick some tail with and the Amp combat while limited is still a fun time. The only "gripe" I'd have with the powers and combat is the upgrade system at times, because at times it's hard to earn points to gain more powers without going out and just whacking random people for no reason.
The story line is truly amazing and takes twists and turns that you don't expect it to take and it's straight up action from beginning to end; never a dull moment and I like that.
Ultimately this game is a must have PS3 title especially if you own Infamous or any of the Sly Cooper games. My rating for this game would have to be....9.8/10 if not 10/10 putting aside the few nitpick little gripes.
