What ever side you choose Good or Evil, inFAMOUS can be a fun game for anyone who owns a PS3. #Real Score

User Rating: 8.5 | inFamous PS3
There hasn't been any good super-hero games for while most games during the years either are worth playing or not worth checking out. Since the Playstation 3 doesn't have many good games at the moment inFAMOUS however can be a very fun game because you'll be able to free-rom around the city and you either be a Hero or a Villian.

Main story in the game is where a Expolsion has blown up most parts of Empire City. You'll find Cole badly injuryed and you'll be playing as him and Cole starts acting strange and earns super powers. After being stuck in Hospital Cole finds out that he can use his powers to make the world a better place.
But however Empire City is now in ruins and yes choas is everywhere gangs of people have caused riots, rapes and fighting one anothor. Most parts of the city will be over run by powerful gangs where some enemies are knowen as Reapers and will try and hurt other people and taking away there freedom. So it's up to Cole to do somthing about it you'll get from people around you like Zekke who is your best friend but the story gets more serious on what choices you'll make through out the game.

Gameplay: When you playing as Cole you'll be playing in 3rd-person mode because you'll be useing Lightning Force to zap at enemies, you can use shockwave to blow your enemies away seeing them fily. Some missions you'll be able to earn new upgrades which can lead you to more powers that you can use to fight against stronger enemies or a quick way to get around the city more.

During inFAMOUS you'll be making choices what ever side you pick where it's Good or Evil, on the top left of the screen you'll see a balance bar the top half is Good and the bottom half is Evil. What ever side your going to pick you can earn some XP points by either healing people or sucking their souls out of them. You can also use XP to buy and make your powers stronger or reduce damage. You'll notice when the screen turns grey meaning by the next attack by an enemie you'll die but if you quickly find somewhere that has electricity you can restore your health and restores your Energy Meter because odds are you'll be useing your stronger powers to take out your enemies.

There are 3 sections in Empire city and each parts of the city will be overrun with a stronger Gang organisation like Reapers or Bagmen. There are also side quests you'll be able to help others and it will also mean that most enemies will not take over that territory, Some quests are Good and Evil but which ever one you'll do the Good or Evil side quest will be blocked meaning you won't be able to the mission.

Graphics and Sound: Some games have free-roming enviroments where you'll be able to get through the game without any loading screens but while your blasting your way through the city.

You can get a great view of the city by climbing to the top of a big building, most gameplay graphics look stunning because it looks like real electricity but 100%, most of the animation is well done and well detailed for most charcters in the game. Some of the cutscene graphics remind you of certain graphic-comic books or certain TV programmes like HEROES where some of the paintings look familiar in general but thats what I think of.

Camra can be a little fiddly while fighting bosses because there's no target lock but most bosses are easy to get through so you shouldn't have any problems but playing through Hard is probably the right difficulty for anyone because easy and medium are a little too easy.

Voicing is well done for inFAMOUS for the main charcters, Music does a pretty good job as well what ever side your playing through first time the music can be serious/heroic if your playing as Good or playing as Evil the music is dark and villainous.

Overall: What ever side you pick it can take over 15 hours to get through the main Story mode what choices will you make in general will you save those around you? Or will you take over the city make everyone suffer? Apart from doing side quests and going story mode you can collect Shards which are scattered all over Empire City which will keep you busy if you want to collect 100% on story, you can also listen to Audio recordings knowen as Dead Drops which are connected to satterlites where you'll be hearing Information and secrets from the Empire City before it got blown up by a powerful expolsion.

Shame there isn't multiplayer for online PS3 users but if your a throphie collector it'll keep you busy for a while or you can do what you like in Empire City as much as you like. Some missions can be a little repetative but you will keep you busy.
