You'll feel like a badass.
Cole is like Superman, with lightning powers. You can run, and climb almost ANYTHING in Empire City. From buildings, to poles, to wires! I sometimes even jump on a car and take a ride :P.
The story is very good. It will keep you wanting more. I couldn't stop playing, because I wanted to find out what would happen next! And it's not a short one either with about 30 missions. The cutscenes are told in comic book style, which is original.
The basic story is that there is an explosion, and you survive and get lightning powers. I won't give the rest away.
You can also become good or evil depending on your choices. You get a bunch of "Karma moments" where you can choose to either help the city, or do something selfish. The big difference is that when you're good, your lightning is blue. And when you're evil, it's red. Your powers also differ, and the citizens react to you differently.
The lightning powers, effects and sounds are awesome. You earn XP for defeating enemies, and doing missions. You can use that XP to upgrade your powers. I won't give any away, but they're all really cool.
You can also collect Blast Shards to make you stronger, and Dead Drops that add more to the story. There are 32 dead drops, and about 350 blast shards to collect.
The graphics are really good. They're not the best that I've seen on PS3 (like Burnout Paradise), but they're still good.
Now for the bad stuff. It's not that bad, don't worry.
-Sometimes when you're climbing, and you want to jump somewhere, you might not make it. Cole attaches to pretty much anything. This is just a minor annoyance.
-The worst thing is that after you complete the story, there's not that much to do. You can run around the city blowing stuff up, or defeating enemies that occasionally show up, or doing stunts. But after a while, you just wish there was more to the story.
Despite the few bad things, this game is still amazing. The story will keep you occupied, and those lightning powers of yours are fun for destructive uses >:D.
