Great gameplay mixed in with a pretty good story makes this game a lot of fun to play

To start things off, let me just say I really had no hype or motivation to play this game, at all. I was expecting just another bargain bin game from the gameplay I saw..

Storyline: When I first started the game, I was surprised on how easy it was to just jump into it. The controls were easy, and following the story for a while, I was definitely interested on what was going on. Cole was just a normal person who after a blast that occured in Empire City, gave him superpowers. Now he is living in a part of the city that is quarantined and is trying to figure out what is going on. Although not the most creative story ever, the story has it's twists later on that certainly grab you into what is going on. Also, the great thing about this story is just as the title says inFAMOUS. You choose who you want to be: a good guy or bad guy. Although there isint a great difference between either, there are a few cool story twists later on in the game, and different choices to make.

Gameplay: one of the things I was worried about when starting this game is if the powers you have will become boring. Let me tell you that is not true, at all. The powers in this game are very fun to use, especially later on when you unlock the stronger, useful ones. The enemies are pretty well balanced, and later on, you will easily see that they do get stronger. Overall, the gameplay works very smoothly, from just grinding on a railway to fighting a boss.

There are just a few flaws here and there with this game. First, the difference between being a hero and being infamous were not as major as I wished it was. Like I said before, aside from a few storyline differences, it's nothing too major. Also, there are a few random bugs that pop up from time to time that cause a few problems.

Infamous is a great game that every PS3 owner should at least play through once. It's just a fun, well balanced game that is a joy to play. You can start the storyline over many times and it still won't get boring. Killing enemies over and over is always a lot of fun and never gets tedious.

My score on Infamous: 9.5/10
