Little bit of the story
The story of the game is brilliant. Bike courier Cole MacGrath was sent to the middle of Empire City´s Historic District with a package sent by unknown sender. He was told to open the package there.
The package was a bomb.The bomb explodes destroying six blocks. Empire city was isolated from other world. Soon Cole realises that he can control electric. Cole meets Moya Jones, an FBI agent after failed attempt of escape. Moya tells about a mysterious thing called "Ray Sphere" to Cole. She also tells that if Cole helps to find the bomb, she well help Cole out of the city.
InFamous is basically a sandbox game. It´s area is pretty wide; Empire city is divided to three different areas: Neon District, Warren District and Historic District. When the plot goes further, Cole learns new powers and skills, which you can upgrade.
Lightning sounds and looks cool, like it should. The graphics are nice, but the game suffers from low frame rate. There is also little glitches, but they are not so big deal. Sucker Punch took pretty good care of physics, if you stand in water and an enemy stands on it, enemy dies, for example.
Enemies are not stupid, because they can hide and go to cover.
Karma is important part of the game, because your decisions affects the plot. Even in roaming around you might get a moment where you can affect to your karma. There is about 10 hours of plot, and the other 10 hours when you play it again and make different decisions.There is also lots of side missions for good and evil.
Overall a really good game, should be found from every PS3 owners collection. Only bad things are the frame rate and some little bugs. If you don´t have the game, go and buy it. But still it just deserves 9.
