inFamous was worth the wait, worth the money, and is deffinitly worth your time. (Sorry for those without PS3s.)

inFamous is an amazing gaming experience that takes the whole superhero shtick to a new level: Whereas most superhero adventures are all about doing good, and finishing the story, inFamous has the games protagonist Cole just starting fresh, choosing to either be heroic, or infamous. With each action you take, there will be a consequence of either good karma, or bad karma. The people either adore you, or fear you.
The game's plot is one of its main attractions, with many twists that make you wonder what's really going on in Empire City, and who the true antagonist is. The voice acting in this game is excellent as well, from Cole's deep, dreary voice, to Zeke's energetic country-styled voice. The character models could have had a little more work done on them, like how pedestrians on the street seem stocky, and how a character's face can seem uneven at times. The landscape of the game wasn't all impressive either, and you can see this when Cole is traversing the city, how everything seems so dead and out of focus. But the lightning effects and the pyrotechnics were captivating, especially when you fry a suicide Dustman with a well aimed Shock Grenade.
Cole's electric powers were truly the core of the game. With over ten upgradeable abilities (including the GameStop exclusive, Gigawatt Blades) and a huge open world to use them on, you will feel like the Thunder god, Zeus, from riding on electric wires, letting loose a powerful electric bolt, to throwing the afore mentioned Shock Grenades and calling down lightning from the heavens (and steering it with the Six-Axis Controller). Cole's ability to scale buildings like a circus monkey is also interesting, as he automatically grabs on to the nearest object, no matter how high up he is.
All in all, inFamous is a worth while experience, and with two different endings possible, (and the tantalizing hint to a sequel) it's not only worth playing over, but it almost feels as if you don't have the full experience unless you do. That and the fact that you can't complete the trophies list without doing it twice.
