Infamous definaley raised the bar for this genre. Fun gameplay, great story and some pretty good graphics to boot make this game a purchase.

Plot: Infamous takes a normal person dealing with realistic issues, gives him super powers and throws him into a chaotic environment where only he can make the difference. Its got a heck of a twist and it lets the players decide how things pan out by giving them two options: playing as good or bad.

Gameplay: The game feels like a 3rd person shooter minus the gun but adding on cool powers. Though you do have the ability to melee, its not a very rewarding option. The steady stream of new powers keeps you addicted and prevents you from getting bored very quickly.

Graphics: A nod definatley goes to the graphics. Everything looks great and polished. Powers look like they would be very realistic if possible and the cities look unique.

Sound: Everything has its own distintive sound, from each power, walking on a roof vs walking on the ground, and the voice acting is awesome.

Difficulty: The game doesn't scale as you get deeper, so easy and hard are just that. Climbing buildings are very forgiving and places to gain health are plentiful. Enemies are challenging and bosses take some thought. In the end its all done perfectly.

Special: This game almost has no loading at all. I was surprized to see that after you install the game, you are ready to go and stay ready. If you turn off the game, then turn it back on, you skip all menus and take where you left off! This is also done without ANY pop-ups! You never witness buildings trying to load as you run around.

The Pro's: Powers feel cool, story is great, everything looks real and sounds like it should..all without any loading. Its not being lazy when I say that pretty much everything is done right! Even the small things like climbing is easy, and Cole really moves like you would expect a normal person, with super powers, should.

The Con's: You really have to nick-pick in order to find some bad things about the game, but some of it is worth paying attention to: The replay on the game isn't too high, since you have 2 ways of doing everything: good or bad. Once you have beaten the game, you can try and find shards, but thats about it. Climbing is easy since you can grab onto everything...getting down can be difficult since you can grab onto everything though.
