I remember this game, its the only 3D available for my old 3530...>_>

User Rating: 7.5 | Infernal Gate MOBI
I downloaded this game years ago, don't be surprised by that since I already have an N70 in 2007. I got it for 30 Pesos (That would be less than a US Dollar). But forget about the personal stuff, I'll go on with the review..

Graphics: A Spectacular achievement for a Mobile Game, this almost looks like its used the DOOM Engine, more surprisingly that its also compatible for older phones w/ color. The Animations are quite lacking, so you can't tell when you get attacked nor can you tell if the particular enemy is attacking you..the stake design is particularly realistic looking, but equipping the shotgun is seemingly cartoonish. But overall, moving your character in the maze levels are fluid and the Graphics are one of the best I've seen in my old 3530.

Sound: ...The 3530 version had no sound, not much to say now don't we??....

Gameplay: Typical FPS/Quake-ish stuff. You collect ammo, unlock doors by using switches and look and grab for keys, obtain weapons (Though there are only 2 in the 3530 version.). Get Potions that heal yourself and bump on blue walls to regenerate 10 HP per second. This isn't a bad thing, especially when your doing this on an outdated cellphone. But the variety of enemies and weapons are lacking, in the 3530 version, there were only Stakes and Shotguns as your arsenal, and there are only 3 different enemies and 1 boss (Who is only the Final level), these enemies are a bat, a zombie, and a red demon...the boss is a palette swap of the red demon where instead they colored it light blue.

Lifespan: 25 levels, as explained on the description of the game...which is quite long for a shooter, the puzzles get more lengthy as you move on...most levels have puzzle elements (Well since I found this game in the Puzzle Section) where you flicker switches and find keys but there is only 1 action level where demons are surrounding you, and you need to equip a shotgun and start shooting....a lot!! But then your just gonna do the same thing over and over again....

Story: The Story is quite awkward, but Elkware isn't really much of a storyteller except for their MYST similar games..Its about a Priest named Jason, a guy who made a pact with the Devil and a gate to hell opens every 500 years while being sent to Purgatory for treason, he waits for 500 years and now that he waited long enough, the Gate back to reality is open and you need to take him over the levels...

The Biggest problem in this game however is the lack of tutorial, it doesn't give you a good start (Especially when you'll be confused to see a switch or wander if you regenerate every time you bump in a blue wall.) But get over this and you have a solid maze game given...

Overall, Infernal Gate is a solid puzzle game with no steep requirements of getting it...I don't think this game is available anymore though...but that's just for the gamers who played it once...
