Gamespot must have reviewed this game with it's eyes closed
That being said the review of the game was just jumping on the band wagon of hating the game so they didn't have to actully review it.. This game by far isn't pay to win besides some really basic gear and sights for guns you've already found you can't buy guns in the game... The hour cool down is easy to work around it was ment to be a way to make people think instead of just rushing around, since there is the option not to play hardcore and loose your character stats upon death...
As for having a hard time finding gear ??? run though a town once and you normally will leave with atleast better then a flashlight which sucks killing zombies, but a hammer or bat three hits to the head and they don't get back up normally....
Player killing is no worse then DayZ ever was which I love DayZ and have waited patiently for the standalone release just to keep getting it pushed back and back..
Hacking is bad on this game at times, but atleast on WarZ one hacker can't port everyone to a single spot and drop them from the sky or nuke the whole server playing smart will normally keep you away from hackers and it's coming along hacking is a big issue in online games not just WarZ...
This game biggest fault is it wasn't ready for the so called foundation release BS they pulled. Them rushing the game to market was a major screw up, but you can't take back what is already done they wanted to beat out DayZ standalone on release and made a few major mistakes...
Alot of hate from this game comes from fanboys of DayZ since they think DayZ was the only way to go yet looking at DayZ servers show them not as packed as once was... We have a ever growing low attention span WarZ is not without it's problems Some of the same problems that DayZ mod and maybe one day DayZ standalone will face.. The devs have been pushing out updates (not always the ones we want!!!) This game is fun if you can grab a few friends and play together, but just like DayZ it's hard to trust anyone and normally safer to put a bullet in them before they see you and do it to you...
