Don't let the old reviews scare you, this is a great game!

The game has been given so many bad reviews, but those reviews are based on the product launched December 2012. The game has come full circle and is now a great game. The experience is intense. Players hunting players for loot, permanent death, large persistent world, US maps (currently Colorado & an upcoming release for California). As a huge fan of FPS, MMO and Zombies, this game fulfills all of those joys at once. Everyone compares Infestation to Dayz, in my experience Dayz mod is not even close to the quality of infestation. Infestation has better AI, less bugs, less hackers and way more features. They are currently updating all in game graphics, polishing it up a lot, adding new content, fine tuning the AI adding new items and weapons, they have a functional skill system for characters, and they are adding much much more. They do have a few things that aren't added to the game yet, but all in all this game is worth buying and a serious amount of fun.
