Infinity Blade could have changed the way the i-platform was viewed by gamers and game developers, but fails on delivery

I may have been expecting a lot after playing through chAIR's proof of concept app, "Epic Citadel."
After being given the freedom to explore an absolutely stunning environment, it feels amazingly trapping to be limited to tapping on progression points over and over again.

Ok, now the good stuff. This is the best looking game to come out on a mobile platform. It kills any wii title easily, and bites furiously at the heals of modern PC games.
The fighting system could be something special, it is intuitive and fun. Time will tell if it still feels that way after 20 + of doing the exact same thing...

The only thing keeping me from giving this game a 6 is the promise of substantial updates in the future. Whole new environments and story quests.
This game could really be something special if it were to give players more freedom to explore and had more than a 15 min game repeated over and over and over and over and over...
