Injustice: Gods Among Us is just as good, if not better, then my expectations before the release. The plot is, probably, one of the strongest ever made in a fighter - one that's both enjoyable and that makes, perfect, sense. Basically, two worlds collide - like Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Except it's two identical worlds; meaning there are two Batman's, two Superman's, and so forth. On one world you have sustainability; the other, complete and absolute chaos. One is ruled my democracy; the other ruled by dictatorship. Superman is the enemy in this game; after The Joker killed Lois Lane, Superman killed The Joker. Seriously, I don't want to blow smoke up everyone's asses - don't expect this plot to be downright amazing like BioShock Infinite. Though, if you're a DC follower - you'll enjoy this even more with brief comic book references.

The game-play is, incredibly, enjoyable. My fulfillment of running over Superman with the Batmobile is complete; my fulfillment of punching Shazam out of the planet with Superman is complete; you get the point. Those, what I just mentioned, are like fatalities or finishers. Each character has them, and you can use them by building up a power gauge at the bottom left side of the screen. The combat feels smooth, the characters feel like their counterparts, it's all good. Though, to note, the lack of a big character roster and stage selection is disappointing - this can lead to repetition and eventually it will collect dust on your shelf.

Though, the replay-ability factor should keep you away from ever doing that. You can unlock alternative costumes, obtain extra experience points after each battle, unlock game modes, unlock art galleries, and more. It will take you a hell of a long time to get to level one-hundred in this game. I think, I may be wrong here, you'll need one-million experience points to get to level one-hundred. When you reach in the nineties, you should be close to having nine-hundred thousand points. Currently, I'm level forty in the game. I've collected around two-hundred and fifty-thousand points.

The multi-player isn't why I purchased this game; simply it was because it was a DC fighter. With fighting games, I never play the multi-player since I always get my ass kicked by Japanese or Korean gaming professionals (Wow, stereotypical much?) Though you can practice with friends, you can fight strangers; there is a king of the hill mode and so forth. I haven't touched this, at the moment, and I don't really plan to. If you're looking to purchase this game, though, I think you'll be pleasantly happy with your overall purchase of this high-quality and excellent fighter. You don't get many fighting games like these; I recommend you check this out, especially if you love the DC Universe.

Overall, Injustice: Gods Among Us is an intelligent, incredibly brutal, and wickedly fun fighter.
