Online pitching is full of strategy. Base running strategy is great, online is very fullfilling because of all the thinking invloved with playing against human intellegence. I'm talking with players saying "good steel" or "I pitched out and caught you steeling," because they caught me off guard and had to work for it. Also, wheather to throw a ball or strike and its location really make me feel like I'm watching tv game and couching each pitch and move in the game. I and others I've played really like the back and forth interaction, and I suspect this is somewhat similiar to how major leage couch's feel. As I play more online innings I realize how deep this game is, such as outfield arm strength, using cut-off men, taking the extra base and pitching stamina. Playing against AI leaves me feeling uninspired when I beat it, but listening to someone say "damn it!" when I throw an 0-2 fastball up and in to strike them out and they say "I didn't expect that."
