Imagine Pro Evo, but in the 90's. Enter ISS 98. This football game made me go lunatic about football which hasnt rubbed off yet and probally never will. The gameplay was fast and excited with realistic touches and fabulous goals. Although there wasnt real player names it is easy to edit them. Just seeing Ravanelli and Ince on the front cover made me need to get this game. The graphics were amazing at the time and looked quite different to FIFA.
The commentery was very annoying which is why I gave it a 9 but everything else like the crowd is very good. e.g. I am Beckham. I chase after Ravanelli and do a dirty tackle on him around the middle of the pitch "Oh that must be a penalty!" Stupid Plonker.
You will be playing with this game for a long time because not only are their international competions, the multiplayer is very addictive too.
Everything in this game, from the fantastic replays to penalty kicks, makes this the best football game ever
