Iron Tank has an Iron Heart!
Iron Tank takes you through multiple paths that you can choose. The different paths will award you with different, scenery, difficulty, and enemies. I played through the game 3-4 times just so I could see all the paths and bosses. I was surprised that a game I had just randomly bought from 20/20 video was offering me this much replay value! :)
Your main battle tank is a bit hard to control at first but it becomes natural after a bit. You can have your turret aiming one way as you drive another way. This was crucial to destroy enemies from behind you as you were on the move.
The boss battles in Iron Tank were pretty difficult but not impossible. I would drop my jaw when I saw the size of the giant boss tanks that I had to fight. It was indeed a sight to see back in the day!
Visually, Iron Tank was appealing to look at, although some areas began to look mediocre compared to other areas of the game. The city and dock sections were pretty cool. The music was and is very catchy and definitely sets the mood of warfare.
This game was like a good experience with a blind date, and I am happy to this day to have played this gem! :P
