The best Android game by far. Simple premise, tight controls, and it's extremely addicting and fun.

User Rating: 10 | iRunner AND
iRunner is a game where you simply slide and jump over obstacles; what sounds like a boring premise is actually surprisingly fun. iRunner doesn't try to be something it can't be, it doesn't try to be the next Halo using awful touch screen controls, it doesn't try to be a complex RPG, it's just a simple premise that you play for a few minutes whenever and have fun with. The part that makes it so fun is the simple controls; with a simple interface of "jump" on one side of the screen and "slide" on the other, it's easy to just jump right in. There is a campaign mode, a level mode, and a never-ending challenge mode. While the other two modes are fun, the real fun comes from Challenge mode though.

In this frenzied endurance mode you last for as long as you can, with two lives maximum, a new life every so many points (or +2000 if you have max lives), the game speeds up over time, and there's also a suit you can get if you collect all four parts to it, which drastically increases speed but doubles your score. Things will get pretty hectic as you try to beat your old score and rank high on the leaderboard. While iRunner isn't an in-depth experience, it's just a simple, short, fun game with high replay value that'll keep you occupied anytime you have free time.
