With blistering old school dungeon exploring fun, It's truly a blast.

Izuna one comes out. Barely played it. Got to level two, or so.
Izuna Two comes out. I find out why I tried to ignore Izuna.
The smart-lipped, childish Ninja is back. And better than ever. This one introduces new things, new weapons, characters, and so on. If you've EVER played the first one, this all may seem a bit familiar. But if a formula's good, why change it?
GAMEPLAY
The Tag system feels underpowered, but helpful. And taking two people along is helpful, but I tend to leave certain characters in the dust. Mitsumoto? Level two.
The difficulty will make you laugh in a sadistic fit. If you refuse to level grind, you're almost sure to get nowhere. But Level grinding is fun, when you kill super annoying enemies that used to kick your butt in one hit.
STORY
The story and dialogue is well....Y'know...Weird. And in poor taste. But I have a dry sense of humor anyway, so there you go. There are multiple jokes, mostly about Mitsumoto's ability to constantly get rejected, and, of course, Izuna's overall appeal and feminism.
But I don't get why they added a wedding. If they spent a bit more time, I bet they could pick something better, but I'm not complaining.
SOUNDS
I like the music. But it's a little basic. There are certainly memorable tracks that can get stuck inside your head after repeating a dungeon for the 400th time. I also like the japanese voice overs at times. English would probably find a way to ruin it.
OVERALL
If you hate blistering difficulty, don't get it.
If you hate dungeon exploring, don't get it.
If you hate intense bosses that will haunt you, don't get it
There are so many reasons people WOULDN'T want this game. It may get forgotten in time. Confused with a million other Atlus RPG's. But this does shine. It's a rare gem that's hard to get any other place, and is truly a wonderful game.
Oh, And, the Mitsumoto bashing is still funny every time.
