It's not surprising that this game was overlooked to the extent that it was but it is a decent little action/platformer.

In this game you play as the great martial artist/actor/stuntman/comedian Jackie Chan!!! What's not to like about that? While this quaint little beat um up is a decent game it does have some problems that need to be addressed mostly with the unresponsive movement controls and the terrible graphics.

First thing that I need to address is the movement. As this is a game that has as much focus on stunt like plat forming as it does combat, there are many sections in the game where you have to be quick on your toes in order to avoid hazards. Sometimes you don't turn as fast as you'd like and the jumping sections are unforgiving to the point of frustration from the very beginning. However once you adapt to the design of each level it seems like a rather fun challenge and you will need to become proficient if you wish to collect the bonus items hidden throughout the level.

The next thing that I'd like to talk about is the graphics. They are just horrid. Blocky textures all over the place and the people themselves are laughable. Luckily the sound is decent and with Jackie Chan doing his own voice, the game has the glorious charm and humor of his movies.

The highlight of the game is its combat. You have a nice set of different punches, kicks, throws and counters as well as the ability to strafe and block. This is the most challenging and fun aspect of the game play.

In conclusion, I say if you're a big enough Jackie Chan fan this game might be worth a look.
