Very Satisfying
The visuals are decent for an Xbox game. The 360 engine does give it a face lift. A probelm thet often occurs is slowdowns and frame rate drops. These are the most frequent in large battles or extensive magic is being used.
The soundtrack feels authentic and fulfillig. The audio from the fighting to the background music all come together nicely.
Gameplay is run-of-the-mill action rpg. There are lot of fighting styles , magic and transformations to choose from. The fighting never seems to get boring and the exp. engine works very well. The story is were the game shines. You will want to play it all the way to the end to see how it truns out; and how it turns out is really up to you. Choosing between good and evil in situations can alter the story a bit, while givig you different items and ablilites. The side quests are also great. They balance the game out while giving you a sense of the world of the Jade Empire.
Even though its a few years old, this is still a great game in many respects. If you want a great experience play this game.
