This game is much larger than Jak II. There's a desert, Spargus City, and Haven City which is almost completely destroyed, or war-torn. The story and plot is not as good as Jak II, and the ending isn't as good either, but this is a great game. The graphics are amazing, there are 12 guns instead of 4 like in jak II, and you get light powers and a few extra dark powers. There's just more stuff to do. The only reason why I think Jak II is better than Jak 3, is because some missions are more repetitive. In Jak 2, you escape from a tank that is chasing you, delivering eco while running away from krimzon guards, and rescuing these animals. but in Jak 3 there's more racing and car missions which don't appeal to me. I would give this a 9.3, but the new rating system doesn't allow it :( Overall this game is still one of the best PS2 and if you played and beat Jak II, you should definetely get this one.
