Just when you think Naughty Dog is done...they come out with the great duo Jak and Daxter. Pure Genuis!
Jak and Daxter are a great duo together and funny. The game starts off where your little buddy daxter falls into a pitt of black gewy stuff that tranforms him into that thing he is now. This is where the games starts. They travel to different places collecting precursor orbs and power cells. Precursor Orbs are the eggs that you collect, you can trade these with other characters to get Power Cells.
Gameplay is good. The little cut scenes are funny because there different for everytime you collect a power cell. Jak and Daxter's moves are good and requeirs both of them in good ways. You can do a high jump, butt stomp, and when you get yellow eco you can shoot fire balls. Different color eco can make you do different things, some can make you run faster while red makes your attack stronger.
Graphics are great in this game. You can see almost everywhere when you look out. Everythings looks good. From the depths of a volcano to the snowy mountain tops everything, especially detail, looks great.
Sounds were good enough for me. Although Daxter's jokes were a bit dull at times, he still had me laughing. Jak doesnt say much unfortunately, and the other characters are amusing as well. The music within the game, is normal I guess. I personally thought the games sounds were good.
Point blank, play the game. Its great and fun for the kids...I loved it.
