Collect precursor orbs(coins) and power cells(stars). Just like Mario. WRONG! This is Mario on roids.

After playing this game I went out and immediately bought jak 2, 3 and X. Naughty Dog definitely got it right with this game. It has a great story not to mention that some of the cut scenes are funny when Daxter puts in his two cents (Jak is kind of a mute in this one. But forgive him cuz in the next one he gets some much needed attitude.) When I got this game I had just finished playing Mario Sunshine and was looking for something with a more immersive story and this one really did it for me. It wasn't the same old "oh snap Bowser got Peach" again. Not to mention the gameplay is pretty great. Very diverse levels and interesting characters. Try to get all the Power Cells to get the additional ending. It's ok if you missed one though because there is a bug that occurs about halfway through that will prevent you from getting a power cell if you activate it; so make sure to look up where that is so you don't make the same mistake I did. But back to jak. This is indeed a great game and very easy to find at gamestop, gamexchange, etc. (Though the later games are even easier to find). It's a fairly easy game, which is the reason I think they made jak 2 so hard, but don't let that deter you. I promise you will get hooked if you get this.
You might play it again because it's not as long as other games but also if you hit the glitch. Graphics aren't new-gen caliber or anything but some of the environments are very blissfully colorful. I've hit the brick wall and have nothing left to say except.....
if you are looking for a great platforming experience you've found it.
