An amazing game! The first installment in the amazing Jak & Daxter series for the PS2 and possibly the PS3 in the future. You play as Jak who is the main character in the series, as you venture to the far north to find Gol, the Great Sage, for he is the only person who knows the ways of the dark eco. What am I talking about? Well sorry, I jumped a little ahead. The game starts when Jak and his friend Daxter venture to the strange Misty island and witness the evil tribe of creatures, known as the Lurkers, gathering. Jak and Daxter are attacked by a Lurker and Daxter falls into a pit of mysterious dark eco and turns into a furry, squirrel-like, creature. Then Jak and his friends, Samos, the Sage, and his daughter, Kiera, and the newly furrified, Daxter begin their trek to see Gol, for he is supposedly the only person who knows of the Dark eco's power. While on your adventure you visit many awesome environments and do errands in order to collect power cells for your zoomer vehicle. The only thing I have wrong with this game is the fact that Jak never talks throughout the game. But on the positive Jak has a wide variety of moves, the graphics are good, and there's many great environments to explore, also the game runs on a nice story line.
