Jak and Daxter is such fun and enjoyable game. I was amazed at how brilliant the game was. It has all the typical platformer elements but takes it to new heights. It has a well written, funny and enjoyable story. The characters are very likeable and the dialogue is perfomed with enthusiam by some talented voice actors. There is also a pleasant musical score that brings levels to life. The games strongest point would have to be its graphics. They are breathtaking. So much attention to detail has been put into the games levels and characters. One one would describe the graphics of this game: Beautiful! With its innovative free roaming gameplay, Jak and Daxter is one of those games that really makes its mark. Just look at the platformers that have come out since this game, all have incorprated elements of the game. It's practically reinvented a genre. A must have.
